At QB Care, we support participants in accessing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to provide safe, purpose-built homes that meet their unique needs and help them live independently.
What is SDA?
SDA refers to housing designed for people with extreme functional impairments or very high support needs. These homes are built with features like wheelchair accessibility, assistive technology, and tailored layouts to ensure comfort, safety, and independence.
Who is Eligible for SDA?
To be eligible for SDA, participants must:
- Have extreme functional impairments or high support needs.
- Require specialised housing to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Eligibility is determined through an NDIS assessment. More information about SDA and eligibility is in the SDA Operational Guideline.
